Program Expansions- Lots of  New Opportunities 
Resources for Industry (RFI) in Walton, NY and Community Living Skills (CLS) in Arkville, NY are currently expanding their adult education opportunities and community inclusion provided to individuals with disabilities. This will result in many new job opportunities ranging from entry level to supervisory positions.  See position descriptions below ("Life Coach"). Apply now!
Qualifications: High School Diploma. Intensive training will be provided.

Person Centered Facilitator  
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist adults with disabilities in identifying what is truly important to them by coordinating and facilitating person centered planning.
Qualifications: High School Diploma and two years experience in Human Services, with at least one of those years with people with disabilities or Bachelors Degree in Human Services. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication, focused listening, diplomacy and tact, and negotiation skills.
3/4 Time Life Coach I - Community Living Skills, Walton, NY
Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for helping with the person-centered goal training plan of individuals with developmental disabilities. Training occurs in accordance with a training plan and includes the areas of self-care, daily living skills, recreation, basic academic and socialization skills, language and communication. 
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Life Coach I - THRIVE, Hamden, NY
Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for helping with the personal-centered goal training plan of individuals with developmental disabilities. Training occurs in accordance with a training plan and includes the areas of self-care, daily living skills, recreation, basic academic and socialization skills, language and communication. 
Qualifications
: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Life Coach II - Community Living Skills, Walton, NY
Duties & Responsibilities:
Life Coach II’s are responsible for providing instruction and support to consumers that promotes independence, promotes self advocacy, offers choices, enhances flexibility of services and is based on a person centered plan.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. One year of work experience required and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Life Coach III - THRIVE, Hamden, NY & Community Living Skills, Walton, NY 
Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete and update of individual assessments in coordination with Life Coach X.   Develop and implement consumer goals, curriculums and lesson plans based on person centered plan. Provide instruction/training to consumers to develop individual independence. Chart, monitor and analyze consumer progress.   Develop curricular materials. Maintain a positive learning environment. Maintain the health, welfare and safety of consumers. Advocate on behalf of participants.
Qualifications: High school diploma and one year experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred:  demonstrated competencies in active listening, basic teaching, task analysis, behavior management skills, and person centered planning, and advocacy.   
Life Coach IV - Community Living Skills, Walton , NY
Duties & Responsibilities: Support individuals in achieving their desired outcomes. They will provide training and behavioral support to all consumers from all hubs. They will provide back up support to the Food Service and Prevocational Trainer at the THRIVE hub. 
Qualifications:
High school diploma and two years experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred:   demonstrated competencies in basic teaching skills, behavior management, active listening, curriculum development, task analysis, person centered planning and advocacy. Must obtain and maintain medication certification, First Aid Certification, NYS driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Life Coach V (Several Positions)- Several Locations
Duties & Responsibilities: Completion and updating of individual assessments in goal area, community activity, socialization skills and other relevant data to promote individual success, actively participate in individual planning, provide training to participants in specialized classes, community involvement activities, volunteer activities, socialization and interaction skills, coverage of participants during staff absences, maintain a positive learning environment, coordinate and cooperate with other staff, collect data relative to clinical and administrative functions. Develop curricular materials, daily, weekly and monthly schedules, new community activities. Petty cash reconciliation, vouchers, invoices, schedule of agency vehicles. Obtain and maintain Medication Administration Certificate, First Aide Certificate. 
Qualifications:
High school diploma and two years of experience in Human Services or one year of experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Valid NYS drivers license with an acceptable driving record. Demonstrates competencies in active listening, teaching, curriculum development, task analysis, behavior management, person centered planning and advocacy. Demonstrates traits of interpersonal skills, building constructive and effective relationships with community members, using diplomacy and organization and problem solving.
Life Coach VII -  Resources for Industry, Walton, NY (OPTS Programs)
Duties & Responsibilities: Life Coach VII will train and assist individuals in achieving their desired outcomes, by accessing and developing areas of interest within the local community matching the individuals with those opportunities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and two years of experience in Human Services or one year of experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities. NYS drivers license with an acceptable driving record. Demonstrates competencies in active listening, teaching, curriculum development, task analysis, behavior management, person centered planning and advocacy. Demonstrates traits of interpersonal skills, building constructive and effective relationships with community members, using diplomacy and tact, relating well to all kinds of people, inside and outside the organization and problem solving skills.
